National IC Regattas
In addition to locally sponsored events, the "federation of IC fleets" comes together during the year for the IC Midwinters held in Annapolis in early February and at the end of the year for the InterClub Dinghy National Championships a regatta that rotates yearly around the fleets. These two events are held according to the IC Technical Regulations. In addition, the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club hosts the New Years Regatta.
Wharf Rat Challenge
To create more competition, enthusiasm, and participation at Interclub regattas Heidi and Steve Benjamin deeded two new trophies in 2006 called The Wharf Rat Challenge and the Wharf Rat Challenge/Top Team From Larchmont. The Wharf Rat Challenge is a season long low point series consisting of various Interclub regattas such as the regattas listed below (Nationals, Midwinters, New Years, Stanley Bell etc).

IC Midwinters
Unlike many other classes midwinters the InterClub has a true "mid-winter" regatta, generally held in the first weekend in February in Annapolis. Luckily, Annapolis has pretty nice winters with average temperatures in the low 40s, perfect frostbiting weather. The InterClub Midwinters has built quite a reputation for itself. That reputation is one of great sailing and socializing in equal proportions made possible by the regatta format, called "collegiate style". Each boat is shared among sailors from two divisions who form a team for scoring purposes - just like in college sailing. First one division sails a few races, then the other. Alternating between racing and socializing is even tempting for those sailors that normally consider frostbiting as part of the lunatic fringe. As one new frostbiter described, "I thought I'd get pretty cold out there, but I was pleasantly surprised that these little tubs keep you moving, and before you know it, your round is over and you're back in the club eating soup!"

IC Nationals
The Nationals are the climax of the IC winter season, generally held in the middle of April. The competition is fierce, with some of the best sailor on the East Coast attending. Often, the fleet is divided into four groups and races round-robin style depending on the venue and conditions.
