Series Scoring
Thanks for all the great responses and enthusiasm for the 2008 Wharf Rat Challenge. The last planning messages brought lots of good feedback and we now have the almost final schedule.
There is still a consensus to add another Massachusetts event bringing the total number of events to 6, yet we will keep the qualifying requirements as before with the Nationals being mandatory and best of any two others.
- Mass Bay Challenge in Hyannis November 10 / Neal Fowler (11-Nov is backup date).
- New Years Regatta at Manhasset Bay YC / 30-Dec-07 and 1-Jan-08 (no racing on 31-Dec-07) / Pedro Lorson. For the WRC only the racing on 1-Jan-08 will count.
- Midwinters in Annapolis / 26-Jan-08 and 27-Jan-08 / Jesse Falsone.
- Stanley Bell Regatta at Larchmont YC / 15-Mar-08 and 16-Mar-08 / George & Cynthia Parthemos.
- New Massachusetts event / name and date to be determined / Spring-08 before Nationals (if this event does not get organized by the Midwinters it will be dropped from the WRC for 2007/2008).
- Nationals at Metedeconk, NJ / 19-Apr-08 and 20-Apr-08 / Keith Taboada.
